However after the passage of the Clean Energy Act, the Environmental Protection Agency was able to regulate aluminum mining, allowing it to move forward.
The Clean Energy act was passed in order to make it possible for Aluminium to move toward the future and improve its environmental practices.
It also allowed the Environmental Impact Statement to be reviewed and finalized, making it easier for the industry to implement new practices and reduce waste.
