Alcoa has ‘satisfying’ aluminum ore concentration

Alcoas ore concentration in the U.S. increased by 1.5% in 2017, the company said Thursday.

The U.K. miner is one of the world’s biggest suppliers of aluminum ore and its concentration in North America dropped to 8.5%.

Aluminum is considered one of Americas most valuable metals and is used in building materials and many other products.

Aluminum ore is mined in Wyoming, Montana, Arizona and Utah.

It is often processed into aluminum-alloy products such as concrete, steel, aluminum alloy, glass, ceramic, and ceramics.
