However, the US still has an aging workforce and a long way to go before it has enough workers for all the new jobs created in the past decade.
The Bureau of Economic Analysis predicts the US economy will grow by 3.4% in 2018, which would make it the fastest growing major economy in the world, a mark that was recently overtaken by China.
Inflation, meanwhile, is expected to remain above 2% for the next few years.
